Public Involvement

There are a number of ways that someone interested in Rocky Flats can be a participant in its activities and planning. These mechanisms offer opportunities for involvement to people in any situation. Below are several examples of public participation opportunities – pick one that suits your lifestyle!

  • Email the Citizens Advisory Board to share your opinions or to get more information about opportunities to participate
  • Voice your comments and concerns with us, either on the Board’s Public Comment Line (303-420-6148), or via our web site’s public comment form
  • Get on mailing lists for Rocky Flats newsletters, meeting announcements and other materials. This will keep you informed without having to attend meetings. Contact RFCAB for information on how to contact these organizations.
  • Participate with an interest group of your choice
  • Apply for membership on the RFCAB, or another Rocky Flats related group
  • Attend public meetings and comment hearings, offer formal comments/informal suggestions
  • Read cleanup documents and submit your comments
  • Call/write letters to DOE, regulators, members of advisory boards
  • Respond to surveys that may be distributed by different organizations
